Idrija Hostel

The Idrija Hostel is in a pleasant location above the town, offering guests a good view of the starlit centre of Idrija.

• The Zgornja Idrijca Natural Park hides anumber of geological and botanical curiosities, cycling routes, the Lajšt natural swimming hole, picnic sites, and the first forest railway in Europe.
• The Idrija–Cerkno Hillwalking Trail offers numerous hillwalking trails of different lengths and difficulty. Walk on the flower carpet on the Vojsko Plateau, discover the old Partisan print shop, and hike up Jelenk, the highest combe peak.
