Day 1: ARRIVAL TO LJUBLJANA.

Day 2: LJUBLJANA - VRHNIKA (39 km (+18 km optional side trip to Iski Vintgar Valley)).

Day 3: VRHNIKA – POSTOJNA (32 km (+12 km optional side trip to nature reserve Rakov Skocjan)).

Day 4: POSTOJNA – ŠTANJEL / KODRETI (42 km (+6 km optional side trip to Predjama Castle).

Day 5: ŠTANJEL – LIPICA – DIVAČA (48 km) Rolling terrain with flat sections.

Day 6: DIVAČA – ANKARAN (46 km (+19 km optional side trip to Trieste)). Initially rolling terrain, then a long downhill.

Day 7: ANKARAN – PIRAN (29 km (+11 km optional side trip to saltpans Seca)). Easy trip.

Day 8: DEPARTURE FROM PIRAN.

Istrian Coastal Tour

A short version of “Best of Slovenia” tour, emphasis on main Slovene attractions and many natural points of interest. Suitable for cyclists of average fitness.

Dates and prices in 2017

• Individual tour: any day between 25.3. (first starting date) and 14.10.2017 (last possible starting date)
• Group tours: starting on Saturdays - 6th May, 3rd June, 1st July, 5th August and 2nd September and 7th October 2017

Group tour - minimum 5 persons, maximum 16 persons

Price per person in a double room sharing:

Individual tour:

• Low Season: 25.3. to 13.5. and 16.9. to 14.10. 2017: 590 EUR
• High Season: 14.5. to 15.9.2017: 610 EUR

Group tour: 790 EUR

• Children below 2 years of age (babies till their 2nd birthday): free
• Children between 2 and 6 years (children after their 2nd birthday until (and including) their 6th birthday): 50% discount.
• Children between 6 and 12 years (children after their 6th birthday until (and including) their 12th birthday): 30% discount.
• Third adult person on additional bed in a double room: 10% discount.
• Children prices are valid if they share room with parents. If children need a separate room, discounts are available at request. Date of birth required with booking.

Included in price:

• Accommodation in hotels 3* / 4* hotels and guesthouse in two bedded room, on basis of bed & breakfast.
• Luggage transport between hotels (one piece per person).
• Information package in English, German, Italian, French and Dutch including road book and corresponding
• maps (one per booking).
• Personal welcome meeting and bike handover upon arrival.
• Backup service (hotline) during the trip.
• With group tour: English / German speaking tour guide who cycles with the group. He / she takes care of tour organization, bikes, luggage transfer, organizes visits and picnics.

Supplements:

• Single room 110 EUR.
• Seven dinners 125 EUR (three course meal). Dinner in Postojna is served in neighbouring restaurant. Dinner supplement is not possible on group trip (however guide organizes dinners at request of participants) .
• Upgrade to 4* hotel 1st night in Ljubljana Center 50 EUR in a double room, 90 EUR in a single room.
• Bike rental 80 EUR (classic trekking bikes are equipped with 21 gears. One cycling meter and pannier per bike. Pump, lock and a set of Allen keys with basic puncture repair set to be shared by two participants. Price includes delivery and pick up). Every additional day: 15 EUR per bike. Bike rental period starts 9:00 day 2 of the tour (on the day customers leave Ljubljana) and ends on the evening of their arrival in Piran – 18:00 of day 7.
• Electric bike 180 EUR.
• Helmet rental 12 EUR per week.
