Programme

Our pre-trip – Salzburg to Lake Bled

Day 1: ARRIVAL TO LAKE BLED

Day 2: BLED – RIBČEV LAZ (19 km (+ 16 km optional side trip to Savica Waterfall)).

Day 3: RIBČEV LAZ – ŠKOFJA LOKA (57 km).

Day 4: ŠKOFJA LOKA - PREDDVOR (33 km).

Day 5: PREDDVOR - BEGUNJE (43 km (+11 km for two optional side trips)).

Day 6: BEGUNJE – KRANJSKA GORA (42 km (+15 km optional trip to ski jumps at Planica)).

Day 7: KRANJSKA GORA – BLED (40 km (+8 km optional side trip to Vintgar gorge)).

Day 8: End of the tour.

This is NOT a mountain bike tour. It is suitable for cyclists of average fitness, it includes one pass of 750m / 2500ft (but one has the whole day to do it on a quiet road and a help-out lift can be ordered). A definitive must for photographers and those who like mountain scenery but don’t want to take too much effort to get it.

Individual self guided tour: any day between 25.3. (first possible departure) and 14.10.2017 (last starting date)

Price per person in a double room sharing: 590 EUR

• Children below 2 years of age (babies till their 2nd birthday): free
• Children between 2 and 6 years (children after their 2ndbirthday until (and including) their 6th birthday): 50% discount on basic price.
• Children between 6 and 12 years (children after their 6th birthday until (and including) their 12th birthday): 30% discount on basic price.
• Third adult person on additional bed: 10% discount. This discount only applies to third person (not all persons in the party).

Included in price:

• Accommodation in hotels 3*/4* in two bedded room with WC and shower, on basis of bed & breakfast.
• Luggage transport between hotels (one piece per person).
• Information package with route notes in English or German and maps (one per booking). GPS files available
• after full payment of the trip is received.
• Personal welcome meeting and bike fitting upon arrival.
• Backup service (hotline) during the trip.
• Free parking at first hotel at prior request only and at hotel approval.

Supplements:

• Single room 120 EUR.
• Six 3-course dinners 110 EUR (no dinner supplement is possible in Skofja Loka).
• Bike rental 80 EUR per week (classic trekking bikes are equipped with lock, one pannier, spare tube, set of allen keys and basic puncture repair set. Price includes delivery and pick up). Every additional day: 15 EUR per bike. Bike hire starts at 9:00 on day 2 and ends at 18:00 on day 7.
• Electric bike 180 EUR.
• Helmet rental 12 EUR per week.

Transfers:

• Ljubljana City to Bled 35 EUR
• Ljubljana Airport to Bled 30 EUR.
• Klagenfurt Airport to Bled 65 EUR.

All prices per person, 2 persons minimum, one way.

Additional nights:

• 3* Hotel in Bled 59 EUR per person in standard double room, BB. Single room 85 EUR. 3 course dinner 15 EUR.
• 4* Hotel in Bled 79 EUR per person in lake view double room BB. Single room 135 EUR 4 course dinner 25 EUR.

Not included: entrance fees. The parking space in Bled.
